Since joining GACS on August 1st, I’ve been fortunate to meet so many of our welcoming members.  Just two weeks into the role, I spent a very fast-paced week in Amelia Island, Florida, getting to know more than 300 GACS members.
 
Shortly after, Angela tasked me with attending:
  1. Golden Pantry Golf Tournament in Athens, Ga – September 15
  2. Clipper Petroleum Golf Tournament in Buford, Ga - October 8
  3. Parker’s Golf Tournament in Savannah, Ga – October 20
  4. Friendly Express Golf Tournament Jekyll Island, Ga - November 6
  5. DDS Digital License Informational Event – November 17
 
In the meantime, Angela attended:
  1. Two SIGMA events
  2. A two-day GTECA event
  3. Met with Green Oil and the $5,000 Scholarship Raffle Winner
  4. Met with Kevin Paul Scott & Larry Grays to work on a new GACS initiative to be announced in 2026
  5. East Lake BP Grand Opening with many of our members and the Clipper Petroleum Family
  6. Previewed Jekyll Island Club Resort for the 2027 & 2029 conventions
  7. Spent quality time with members at the National Association of Convenience Stores Event in October
  8. Hosted a one-day Board Orientation with our newest board members
  9. Testified before the House Blue Ribbon Study Committee on HEMP
  10. Met with a Tort Reform Alliance comprised of like associations to protect small businesses
  11. And more events are on the calendar for what remains of 2025
 
As for my travel schedule for the remainder of the year, I am excited to announce that on December 5th, I will become Mrs. Bailey Love Woodall.  After which, I will be traveling to Mexico, Honduras, and Belize on a cruise with my new husband Trent Woodall.  For those of you who know my grandfather Jim Tudor as the past GACS President, he will serve as our official wedding officiant!
