Moving Forward
By Angela Holland | President, GACS
Thank you for visiting the digital GACS Today Fall Issue. Today, September 11th, we would like to extend our condolences to the Kirk Family. I know Charlie’s influence will continue to change hearts and minds, and I believe his tragic passing will create a positive shift in our country. May God richly bless this country. About a month ago, we held the GACS annual meeting and convention. The camaraderie, energy, and connectivity were AMAZING! Inside this issue, you can read about our award winners, Senator John F. Kennedy, and Supplier of the Year, Mr. Buddy Rish. Last year, the battle may have been won, but we can expect the war to continue. On a final note, if you didn’t get a chance to check out the recent GACS email titled, “What If ICE Comes to My Business?” Click to access: https://www.convenience.org/Education/Webinars/NACS-Webinars/How-to-Prepare-for-Immigration-Enforcement-Actions No worries, you can check out the one-hour webinar sponsored by NACS with David Jones, Regional Managing Partner and National Immigration Practice co-chair at Fisher Phillips LLC and Jon Taets, Director of Government Relations at NACS. These gentlemen will:
And on a personal note, my daughter Katie started her first pharmacist job this summer, and Kellie started her junior year at KSU in the engineering program. Mark is counting down the days until retirement – 168 to be exact. It’s kind of amazing to think Kellie was only 20 months old when I started at GACS… good times, my friends, good times. Until next quarter, |
