In addition, the winner of the Brittany Schmeelk Scholarship will receive a complimentary registration and guest registration, plus accommodations at the annual GACS Convention at the Omni Grove Park Inn Amelia Island, Florida.

There are 2 ways you can create a scholarship: sponsor or piggyback
By sponsoring a scholarship, any designated GACS member can win your scholarship.
Piggybacking a scholarship means that ONLY your company's employees or children of your employees can win your designated scholarship.
Either way, you can select the amount (minimum $1,000) and name(s) of the awards and customize the criteria.

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:
*Must be a high school senior or college freshman, sophomore or junior
*You must be an employee of a GACS member company or a dependent son or daughter of a GACS member company employee.
*The eligible employee must have at least one year of continuous service as of January 1 of the year in which the scholarships are awarded.
*You must be employed or have a parent/guardian that is employed at a GACS member company at the time awards are announced.
No exceptions will be made.
Note: If you or your parent/guardian is an eligible employee at the time you receive notification that you have received an award you will retain the award for the full academic term.
Scholarship winners will be selected in May by an independent selection committee. Winners will be notified end of May/early June. Winners must enroll in college as full-time students in the fall of 2020. Completed applications must be received by the program administrator no later than April 1, 2020.
