A group of GACS retail members led by GACS President Angela Holland met with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp on Wednesday afternoon amid the fuel crises that arose the previous weekend due to a cyber attack on Colonial Pipeline.  Holland stated the consumer panic is spurred along by the media and that the issue with fuel delivery is exacerbated by the current shortage of fuel truck drivers.  On Tuesday, as part of his response to the shutdown, the Governor issued an Executive Order to prohibit price gouging and temporarily suspended the state taxes on fuel. The group meeting with Gov. Kemp included Clint Brock, Brock Petroleum Corp., Michele Morgan and Patrick Morgan with Morgan Oil Company, and Tori Yearta, Whitesburg BP.
