What a Week It Was: January 2025 at the Capitol
The week began with meetings and dinner with legislators on the evening of January 27. The next day, GACS members met with their legislators at the Capitol and hosted lunch. Then, just two days later on January 30, GACS members were again present at the Capitol in a show of support for Governor Kemp’s press conference announcing his comprehensive lawsuit abuse reform legislation package. Thank You to every GACS member who participated. Your presence was meaningful. Here in pictures are views of the scenes from these important days under the Gold Dome. Remember, we’re not done yet. As we publish this issue, Senate Bills 68 and 69 have likely crossed over to the House but passage is not yet assured. Be attuned: we may again call on you to continue to speak with your representatives about voting for this legislation. Scenes from the January 28 meetings and lunch with legislators
