In 2024, SPATCO Energy Solutions and Dover Fueling Solutions® partnered with a long-standing customer to bring the Wayne PWR™ DC fast charger to market in a real-world fueling environment for the first time. This beta site marked a significant milestone in EV charging technology in the Loganville and Snellville communities, making it ready for customer use.

When Dover Fueling Solutions® was ready to launch their newest fast-charging technology, SPATCO was honored to serve as a key partner, contributing consulting, infrastructure, and installation expertise.

Deploying EV chargers in a C-Store environment can seem challenging, but for Nabeel Memon, CEO of Nabeel Group of Companies, Inc., it was a natural next step. As the owner of multiple C-Store sites, including Snellville, GA and Loganville, GA, and an EV driver himself, Nabeel recognized the value of providing fast-charging options for his customers.

Through a long-standing relationship with SPATCO’s Rob Otersen, Nabeel quickly greenlit the EV expansion for two of his sites. From there, the SPATCO EV Solutions team collaborated with Dover Fueling Solutions® to execute the entire project seamlessly—handling site preparation, local compliance, electrical infrastructure upgrades, and final charger setup and testing. The Snellville site was completed in just six weeks with zero site downtime, demonstrating the power of strategic partnership and efficient execution.

With the second site nearing completion, these new EV charging stations represent more than just an infrastructure addition—they offer an opportunity to attract a new customer base. Unlike traditional fueling, EV customers spend extended time on-site while charging, presenting c-store owners with fresh opportunities to enhance amenities and customer engagement. Positioned along high-traffic roads, the chargers are visible to passing drivers and may even encourage local residents to consider EV adoption.
For many C-Store owners, EV charging is an emerging opportunity. However, Nabeel’s firsthand experience as an EV driver gave him unique insight into the growing demand for charging infrastructure in Snellville and beyond.

On December 18, 2024, the Snellville site officially powered up, marking the completion of a seamless project from start to finish. To celebrate, the DFS and SPATCO teams gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, commemorating their collaboration and the successful deployment of this advanced EV infrastructure.
Nabeel’s team joined in the festivities, expressing excitement and appreciation for the new charging station. With a ceremonial cut of the lime-green ribbon, the chargers were officially open for business—and even SPATCO’s own Ford Lightning EV got a full charge during the event.
