Our theme, Unlock What’s In Store, reflects the main purpose of The SHOW: to provide you – store owners, operators and buyers – information about the newest ways to improve your businesses. From food service to fuel, novelties to snacks, and everything in between, you will find it at The SHOW. The SHOW’s theme also reflects our commitment to always look forward to the future of the industry. You won’t want to miss it. The SHOW will be one fantastic day, with an insightful and timely seminar to kick it off. Read on for more information. Who Should Attend? Retailers, petroleum marketers and convenience store owners, operators, supervisors, managers and employees are invited to attend. The SHOW is sponsored by the Georgia Association of Convenience Stores (GACS), who has been representing Georgia’s convenience store industry and supplier partners since 1973. No need to be a member of GACS, The SHOW is open to ALL retailers. Why Should Retailers Attend? Education, advancement, and industry networking. On Thursday morning we will hold a special seminar led by the Department of Agriculture. Afterwards, The SHOW floor will be open from 9 am – 4 pm. With nearly 200 booths, there are bound to be new items and services you would like to try in your stores. What Else is Offered? On Wednesday night, GACS will kick off the event by hosting a networking cocktail reception room 4:00 PM– 6:00 PM. There you’ll have an opportunity to chat with your peers while enjoying a few drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Where is The SHOW? Good news! There’s no cost for retailers to attend The SHOW; simply register online at www.gacs.com. The SHOW registration, parking, and the seminar are all free of charge. Seminar Leader: Garrett Hollis Garrett Hollis serves as the Legal Services Director for the Georgia Department of Agriculture, where he heads the Department’s internal legal team who will present this seminar. Garrett’s practice reflects the variety of the Department’s mission, including work on legal issues involving animals, food, fuel, plants, soil, and, of course, hemp. Garrett is proud to support the Department of Agriculture’s mission to ensure a safe, abundant, and successful agriculture industry in Georgia, and he considers himself blessed to hold a job where work field trips are literal. Garrett obtained undergraduate degrees at Berry College, and is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. He resides with his wife Rachele and two dogs in Cobb County by way of Bogart, Georgia.
