A Parting ShotBy Matt Jones | Chairman, GACS
As I reflect on my time serving as Chairman, I am filled with gratitude. It has been an honor to work alongside such a dedicated group of owners, operators, and suppliers, who are deeply committed to strengthening our association and serving our industry across Georgia. Over the past three years, we have navigated a host of challenges at the national, state and local levels, while always putting the interest of our members at the forefront. From legislative efforts to educational initiatives and industry collaboration, the resilience and innovation of this association have been evident at every turn. Our collective efforts have not only advanced our businesses but also reinforced the vital role convenience stores play in the daily lives of Georgians. 
I want to sincerely thank our board members, partners, and each of you for your support, engagement, and leadership. This organization stands on the shoulders of the men and women who served before us and is in a great position because of this generation’s involvement and willingness to contribute their time and expertise.
As I pass the gavel to our incoming Chairman, Glenn Snow, I do so with great confidence. Glenn brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to our board and I look forward to him carrying our association forward. Thank you for the privilege of serving.
