The 2024 GACS Convention was a tremendous success! We surveyed 2023 attendees and made some significant changes based on feedback, to enhance attendee experience: recreation on Friday morning, musical entertainment after the Friday night awards, two legislative panels and a legislative reception, having lunch with the exhibitors, and a motivational speaker on Sunday morning, just to name a few.

This year’s theme, There’s No Place Like GACS, resonated with attendees. It speaks to the many untapped resources that are part of this organization. Nearly all of our speakers were drawn from our own community, sharing their knowledge and insights with GACS members. And including our sponsors and exhibitors, who attendees saw more of this year.

This event especially builds connections in the industry. Among those connections this year were the legislators and state officials who joined us, networking with our members and bringing their expertise to the table.
Our organization is changing, evolving and strengthening. As we move forward, the convention provided a perfect opportunity to stop, look around, and celebrate our own. After all, There’s No Place Like GACS.
