Hurricane Helene Relief

Hurricanes Helene and Milton devastated parts of Georgia, the Carolinas, and Florida.  Across our state, GACS members stepped up to support their communities. Susie Q’s Foods went out further afield.  They donated ten pallets of water to those impacted by. Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina.
​They extend special thanks  to the partners who assisted:  Allison Bartlett, from EXIT Realty, for providing a generous donation of diapers, clothes, blankets, and hygiene products; Jacob Hutchinson from Prestige Construction and James Lashley Jr. from Homestead Construction for donating time and effort to help deliver these supplies to downtown Asheville; and Jennifer and Jeremiah Horne for their trailer to get them there.

As Sagar Patel put it so succinctly, “It’s amazing what we can accomplish together.”
