Meet Your New GACS Board Members

I n August at the GACS Annual Convention, members voted to approve these new board members.  Welcome to GACS leadership; we’re looking forward to your insights, wisdom, and creativity!
John Cook, Director of  Wholesale Operations, Geo. H. Green Oil.  Cook joined Green Oil in 1991, has progressed through the ranks, handles dealer relations, new accounts, company relations, and assists with real estate acquisitions, site development, and many other parts of the business. He attended the University of West Georgia. He and his wife Sonya enjoy playing pickleball whenever possible.
Blake Greco, General Counsel, Parker’s Kitchen.  Greco oversees all legal matters for Parker’s Kitchen, including litigation, risk management, licensing, contracts, real estate law and all general legal matters.  He collaborates with each Parker’s Kitchen department on legal issues.  He graduated from the University of Georgia and received his Juris Doctor from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law. He has served on the boards of many nonprofit organizations including the Savannah Bar Association and the Italian Society of Savannah.
Michael Junk, Manager Public and Government Affairs, QuikTrip Corporation. Headquartered in Tulsa, Ok.  Following the election of Governor Kevin Stitt in 2018, Junk served as the governor’s chief of staff; in November 2022, he was appointed to the Oklahoma Transportation Commission, where he currently serves as the At-Large commissioner, representing 77 counties in Oklahoma
Brian Moran, Director of Government Affairs, RaceTrac. Moran engages Legislative and Executive Branch officials on public policy issues affecting RaceTrac.  He commands a mindset forged by careers in state government,  private and public sector strategic consulting, and serving the New England Convenience Store and Energy Marketers Association as their Director of Government Affairs.  He has extensive knowledge of C-store and retail fueling advocacy, environmental programs, laws, regulations, government operations, and compliance. He works remotely from Massachusetts and frequently travels to state capitals across RaceTrac’s southeastern footprint.
Patrick Morgan, Vice President, Morgan Oil Company. Morgan started at the business working in maintenance, during summers between semesters at the University of Georgia. After graduating in 2020 with a degree in finance, Morgan returned to Morgan Oil to operate the wholesale side.  He has also taken on many other roles in the  C-store and car wash arenas as well. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and Georgia football. ​
Rob Otersen, Petroleum, DEF, NG & EV Sales, SPATCO Energy Solutions. Otersen has 20 years of experience in the industry, and has been active with GACS since 2004.  He currently serves as Supplier Committee Chair.  He is also involved with the Georgia Tank & Environmental Contractors Association, and the Petroleum Equipment Institute. A resident of Acworth, he enjoys golf and coaching his sons in baseball and basketball.
