GACS Legislative Reception
Each January, GACS along with members of the Georgia Beverage Association and Georgia Food Industry Association hold a legislative reception in Atlanta near the State Capitol. This event allows legislators and regulators to put a face on the industry. The event is free for members and we strongly suggest each member taking the opportunity to voice your concerns with your legislators. (Prior year photos are on the advocacy webpage - link above)
Historically, this event has been very well anticipated and attended by The Governor, Lt Governor, Speaker of the House, State Constitutional Officers such as the Dept of Revenue Commissioner, Dept of Agriculture Commissioner, Insurance & Fire Safety Commissioner, and many others.
